Introducing Rub A duB
''Rub-A-duB is an exciting new five-member group from South Africa with one of the freshest looks and sounds to come out in recent years. Nothing like them exists in this country. Their music is able to accommodate different types of people and their performance will entertain anybody. The words Rub-A-duB describe a group of people coming together to have a good time in the name of music and that’s exactly what the group plans to deliver whenever you see or hear them. Their story begins with two young men who were able to take advantage of their differences to achieve a common goal. Their names are Tebogo Motsoiri (Bacteria), a Sotho-speaking pantsula dancer, and Melusi Dlamini (Crazy), a Zulu-speaking rapper and break-dancer who had started to play the guitar. They met at a street corner in their township through a mutual friend during one of Crazy’s guitar-practicing sessions. After exchanging some freestyles* they both discovered that they shared a love for music, ragga and dancehall in particular. Source: www.mio.co.za for more info''
